Budget of Rajasthan 2013 2014



Rajasthan Budget 2013 is expected to be presented on the last week of February 2013 by honorable chief minister and finance minister of rajathan, Ashok Gehlot. Exact dates are not finalized but based on the previous track record it would be somewhere in the last week of February 2013 or first week of march 2013.

Due to upcoming general election in 2014, some relief is being expected on the budget for farmers, common man and poor. There could also be some relief and relaxation to the small and medium enterprises (SME) and industrialists to boost the economy and productivity of Rajasthan state. Focus for Government of Rajasthan may also be on to improve the travel and tourism in Rajasthan. That’s why there could be some special budget allocated to tourism department as it brings a significant amount of revenue for the Government.
Rajasthan is the most popular tourist destination of India where millions of people visit this state each year. So, it is one of the most important way to generate good employment for the people of Rajasthan state.

Focus would be upon following on the below sectors this year:

Health
Education
Rural Development
Travel & Tourism

Above sectors have potential to generate lots of revenue and employment to state.
