2012 news: is Jaipur city having an important place in the case of rapes?
According to the reports of NCRB(National Crime Record Bureau), Jaipur city is having fifth place in the list of cities that recorded maximum number of rape cases for the year 2011. The other cities are Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal and Pune respectively. This is a shame for all Indians. Among the states, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, UP, Assam and Maharashtra are having top positions in rape cases for the year 2011. The rape cases reported in Delhi is very large. Since Delhi is the capital of our country, this is totally a bad mark for the city. I am not focusing on Delhi in this matter. The other states and cities mentioned above are bringing shame to us. I think by going through the above mentioned states and cities, you may be able to understand the fact that they are all famous for tourism. Whenever such issues are heard, you can guess what may be in the mind of travelers? India won't be able to attract tourists from different parts of the world as the travelers feel India is not secure to travel. Who can handle such cases? Or who can put an end to such issues? These are the questions that may arise in your mind after reading this article. But my answer is we have to wait and see whether such cases increase or decrease in the coming future. It's the duty of every person to protect himself/herself.
