Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology is an ISO 9001-2008 certified and NABL Accredited National Institute.
Courses:
1. Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Designing(PD-PMD)
Duration: 18 months
Entry Qualification: (Max age limit: 24 year)
- 3 year diploma in Mechanical/Plastic Technology / Tool /Production /Mechatronics /Automobile /Tool & Die Making /DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent.

2. Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology(DPMT)
Duration: 36 months
Entry Qualification: (Max age limit: 19 year)
- 10th standard with Mathematics, Science & English.

3. Diploma in Plastic Technology(DPT)
Duration: 36 months
Entry Qualification: (Max age limit: 19 year)
- 10th standard with Mathematics, Science & English.

4. Post Graduation Diploma in Plastics Processing Technology(PGD-PPT)
Duration: 18 months
Entry Qualification: (Max age limit: 24 year)
- 3 year degree in Science with Chemistry.

Important dates:
1. Last date for issue of application form: June 3, 2011.
2. Last date for submission of field in application form: June 10, 2011.
3. Joint Entrance Examination: July 10, 2011.
4. Commencement of Academic session: August 16, 2011.

How to Apply:
1. Information brochure can be obtained from CIPET, Jaipur against payment of Rs. 100/-(for GEN/OBC) and Rs. 25/-(for ST/SC)in Cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "CIPET CORPORATE A/c. No. 10565622390" from any Nationalized Bank payable at Chennai.
2. Form can also be downloaded from website: www.cipet.gov.in

• Candidates appearing for the entry qualification and awaiting result may also apply.
• Age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for applicants sponsored by industries, SC/ST Category and applicants from North-Eastern region.
• Applications for Post Graduate Degree Programs are available at all CIPET Centers.
