Rail Budget 2011 New Trains to Rajasthan Double Deccar Train between Delhi Jaipur & Jaipur Agra Shatabdi Express

The people of Rajasthan are excited and happy with the announcement of New Delhi-Jaipur double decker and Jaipur-Agra Shatabdi trains proposed by the Railway Minister Mamta Bannerji in 2011..

New Delhi Jaipur Double Deccar & Jaipur Agra Shatabdi Express

Though Rajasthan is one of the most visited states by foreign tourists there is poor rail connectivity between the cities. Hence this proposal will definitely boost tourism in Rajasthan Apart from these two luxury trains Fully AC Double Deccar & Jaipur Agra Shatabdi the Railway Minister has also proposed fifteen new trains to Rajasthan. The trains proposed for Rajasthan in this 2011 Rail Budget includes most of the important tourist destinations in Rajasthan including Ajmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur.

The proposed trains for Rajasthan in 2011 Rail Budget would support domestic and International tourists as they can come from all over the world and from India to Rajasthan. These new trains in Rajasthan would also encourage religious tourism in the state.

Tourists will now have convenience of traveling from Jaipur to Delhi via Jaipur Agra Shatabdi Express. Jaipur – Agra – Delhi Golden Triangle will have easy access by these new trains in Rajastha.

The new proposed Delhi Jaipur Double-decker fully air-conditioned train is a boon for the travelers. This double-decker Train would run non-stop between Jaipur Delhi and will take just three hours time. Because of these two new trains foreign tourists on the Golden Triangle circuit will increase along with the domestic travelers.

2011 Rail Budget Other New Trains Announced for Rajasthan

Bikaner-Delhi superfast

Jodhpur-Delhi Express (bi-weekly).

The decision has been taken to increase the frequency of two trains to Delhi -- from Ajmer and Udaipur

Delhi-Jaipur-Shatabdi, which used to run for six days a week, will be plying daily instead of six days

Udaipur-New Delhi Chetak Express will also be running daily instead of 4 days

Nizammudin-Ajmer Non AC Duronto (bi-weekly)

Kolkata-Ajmer (weekly)

Bhagalpur-Ajmer (weekly)
Varansi-Ahmedabad via Ajmer (weekly).

Chandigarh-Jaipur Garib Rath Express have been extended till Ajmer

Howrah-Jaisalmer Express and Kolkata-Ajmer Express.
