JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University in Udaipur was set up in the year 1937. It became a deemed University in 1987. JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University has derived its name from Janardan Rai Nagar (JRNRVU).

JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (JRNRVU) was established to impart quality Education via Distance Learning Mode. Now JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University has become a respected and one of the best distance learning centers in Rajasthan.

JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University is approved by Distance Education Council, (DEC) New Delhi. It is recognized by UGC and also the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has graded it with B++ grade.
