Political Carrier of Ashok Gehlot

Ashok Gehlothas started their carrier in politics from the student life. He was elected for the first time to the 7th Lok Sabha in 1980 from Jodhpur Parliamentary Constituency. After that he was re-elected for 8th Lok Sabha (1984–1989), 10th Lok Sabha (1991–1996), 11th Lok Sabha (1996–1998), and 12th Lok Sabha (1998–1999) from Jodhpur Parliamentary Constituency. He became member of the 11th, 12th , 13th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha. From the December 1, 1998 to December 8, 2003 he became the 21st Chief Minister of Rajasthan. After that from the December 13, 2008 he is the 23rd Chief Minister of Rajasthan. He also worked as a Union minister, Union Deputy Minister in various departments of the Rajasthan and Indian governments.
