The Fort Palace in Neemrana was built in 1464 AD. The Neemrana Fort-Palace is one of the India's oldest heritage resorts. Neemrana Fort Palace is located in the close vicinity of the Capital of India and is Rajasthan's closest palace from New Delhi.

Neemrana Fort Palace is located at a distance of around 122 kms from Delhi and is just a 2 to 3 hrs drive. Located on the the Delhi-Jaipur highway Neemrana Fort Palace is just 100 kms from Delhi's IGI international airport.

Positioned on a grandiose and splendid plateau, Neemrana Fort Palace is masked in a horse shoe formation of the billion year old Aravalli ranges. Neemrana Fort Palace has a distinct History because Neemrana was the 3rd capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III. The King got killed in a battle with Mohammad Ghori in 1192 AD.

This enchanting, scenic and picturesque site of Neemrana Fort Palace was chosen by Raja Rajdeo. Neemrana has derived its name from a brave local chieftain Nimola Meo. It is believed that Nimola Meo when defeated by the Chauhans, pleaded that his name be given to his lost kingdom.

The property of Neemrana Fort Palace covers over 25 acres/10 hectares of land. In the year 1986 it was decided that the ruins of this Fort-Palace will be taken care of and hence from then the fort ruins have been sensitively restored and reconstructed.

The rooms of Neemrana Fort Palace are furnished with an eclectic mix of traditional Indian and colonial furniture, antiques and object d'art. Most rooms at Neemrana Fort Palace have private balconies or terraces and even the loos are designed to have views!
