RPET 2011 Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test
RPET 2011 Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed the 10+2 level exam from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any equivalent or higher examination from any recognized Board or university. Final year candidates or who have Diploma in any Engineering Branch may also apply and they should not be more than 21 (24 for SC/ST) years.
About Exam:
Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test (RPET 2011) test is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University. This Pre-Entrance Test is organized for engineering, pharmacy and architecture aspirants. All AICTE approved colleges in Rajasthan have to accept this competition for admission to various courses.
Reservations of the seats are based of the Government of Rajasthan reservation rules. Reservation is 16% for SC, 12% for ST, 21% for OBC, 3% for Physically Handicapped, 25% for Women and 3% for dependents of Defence Killed / Ex-Servicemen and 5% for the Kashmiri Migrant candidates. A certain percentage of seats are reserved under the domicile criteria for the candidates belonging to the state of Rajasthan.
RPET 2011 Application Form:
The Application Form with all relevant material can be collected from 23rd March, 2011 from the branches of UCO Bank (10.00 AM to 4.00 PM, on Saturday 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM) against cash payment of Rs. 700/- (inclusive of all fees).
RPET 2011 Important Dates:
* Date of issue of Application Form: 23rd March, 2011
* Last Date for submitting Application Form: April 10, 2011
* Exam Date: 20th May, 2011 (09.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon)
RPET 2011 Examination Scheme:
The exam paper will be of three hours containing 120 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. There is no negative marking for wrong response. The questions in the exam will be both in Hindi and English.
