BITSAT 2011 Exam is an online Test and not a paper based entrance test.

Online Application forms for BITSAT 2011 are available on its official website.

You need to carefully fill in the necessary details in the online form. After filling all the required details you need to take the print out of the filled form. Post the form to BITS Pilani along with required documents and demand draft(refer to the website for the DD amount). Read carefully the details before sending the form

For BITSAT 2011 Exam Girls get a concession in application fees.

BITSAT 2011 - Important Dates

Last dates for applying for BITSAT-2011: End January 2011

Allotment of Test centers and announcement to candidates: Mid February, 2011

Candidates who applied can reserve Test dates online: End February to Mid March (Need to check the exact dates after it is announced in the website).

Candidates need to download the Hall tickets with instructions: Between 2nd week of April till week of April 2011

BITSAT 2011 Online tests: begins 2nd week of May 2011 till mid of June 2011

Announcement of Admit List and Wait List: (BITSAT 2011 Result Date): 1st week of July 2011

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2011 Examination

The minimum eligibility requirement for BITSAT 2011 - 12th with at least 80% marks in aggregate in PCM subjects.

Candidate should have to score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates who have passed 12th in 2010 or appearing for 12th in 2011 are eligible to appear for BITSAT 2011.

Pattern BITSAT 2011 Examination:

BITSAT is an online test and the duration of BITSAT 2011 is 3 hours. There will be 150 objective type questions with four options for answers.

Correct answer will score 3 marks and incorrect answer will deduct 1 mark.

150 questions are distributed as follows:

Physics-40

Chemistry-40

English Proficiency-15

Logical Reasoning-10

Mathematics-45

If any candidate is able to complete all 150 questions before 3 hours he has an option to go for 12 extra questions subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

The syllabus of BITSAT 2011 Exam is similar to NCERT 11th and 12th syllabus.
