Maida - 250 gms
Salt as required
Red chilly powder as required
Oil -200 gms
Dhaniya powder -1/4 tsp
Chana dal -100gms
Garam masala -1/4 tsp
Soak chana dal for about 5 hours.
Add 1 tbsp oil and salt to Maida, by adding sufficient water and make it as soft dough.
Take a pressure cooker and put soaked chana dal with a glassful of water and cook to get whistle.
Remove the excess water and grind the dal.
Take a kadai and heat 2 tbsp oil then add the dal paste and stir it for 2-3 minutes.
Finally add all the masala powder and stir well.
Stuff this chana paste in the Maida and make small ball like and prepare thin parathas
Cana dal paratha can be eaten with aloo dum, raita and chutney.
