Rajasthani Type Vegetable Khichdi Recipe


Rajasthan namkeen recipe, khichdi, how to make the rajasthani type vegetable Khichdi Recipe.

Ingredients Required:

1 cup of fine quality rice

2 tbs pure ghee

1/2 cup green gram Dal

1/2 cup French beans(It should be chopped)

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/2 cup chopped cauliflower

1/2 cup chopped carrots

Pinch asafetida

1/2cup peas

water required

turmeric powder as required

How to make vegetable khichdi:

•First fry the green gram Dal into gold brown colour

•Wash rice and fried dal to remove the dust.

•Take a pan, pour some ghee Heat then put the cumin seeds and asafetida, white till the seeds to crack, add all the vegetables and fry for 5 minutes in low flame

•Then add the washed rise and Dal with that and continue to stir fry for 3 minutes and add turmeric powder.

•Add water as required and leave it to cook.

•Finally keep it in low flame for 3 minutes.

•Add the remaining Ghee and Serve in hot.
