    Recipe of Ghevar-The traditional rajasthani sweet taste

    Ingredients:

    • 4 Cups flour
    • 2 1/2 Cups ghee
    • 4 Cups water
    • 1 1/2 Cups milk
    • 1 table spoon chopped Almonds, Pistas
    • 1 table spoon Cardamom powder
    • 1 tablespoon Saffron
    • 1 1/2 Cups sugar
    • 1/2 tablespoon Yellow color

    Method:

    •First mix flour, ghee, milk and 3 cups of water to make a batter.
    •Mix yellow color in the remaining 1 cup water.
    •Mix the colored water to batter.
    •Now take a steel cylindrical shape container.
    •Cylinder should have a height of at least 12", and a diameter of 5-6".
    •Fill half of the cylinder with ghee and heat it.
    •Once the ghee become hot, pour a glass of batter in the center of ghee.
    •batter is spreading & being a foam Now Allow foam to settle.
    •Pour some ghee in it again.
    •leave it to proper fry..
    •Prepare sugar syrup of one taar consistency.
    •Dip prepared ghevar in it..
    •Pour few drops of saffron water.
    •Sprinkle chopped almonds, pistas and cardamom powder.
    •Ghevar is ready to serve.
