Ashok gahlot is born on 3 may 1951. He is a leader of Indian national congress party.

His father name is late shri Lachman Singh Gehlot. His father was a farmer. He got birth in Mahamandir that is in the jodhpur, rajasthan. His wife name is Smt. Sunita Gehlot. He has one son and one daughter. His educaton qualification is B. Sc., M.A. (Economics), LLB. His religion is hindu.

He belongs to Indian national congress.He is a prominent political leader. In 1980, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for the first time from Jodhpur. He has vast administrative experience.

In 1995 he was appointed as a president of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. He was chief minister of the Indian state of Rajasthan from 1 December 1998 to 8 December 2003.

He is very humble by nature. He got selected again and again because he understand the public’s problems and support them as much as he can.
