Bangalore also called electronic city,is in Karnataka. Located on the Deccan Plateau in the south-eastern part of Karnataka. Bangalore is famous for its unique cool climate which attracts most of the tourists.

History

After Western Gangas rule, Bangalore was ruled by Cholas in 1024 CE then which was captured by Chalukya-cholas in 1070. In 1116 Hoysala Empire took bangalore in his hand. Finally the modern Bangalore was founded by Vijayanagara Empire, Kempe Gowda. On 1 November 2006 Government of Karnataka officially implement the name Bangalore to Bangaluru. Today Bangaluru is one of the fastest growing cities in India.

Climate

Bangalore has more moderate climate throughout the year, The highest temperature recorded in Bangalore is 38.9 °C and the lowest temperature is 7.8 °C .On 1st October 1997, t he rainfall recorded in a 24-hour period is 179 millimeters which is the heaviest rain fall in Bangalore.

Economy

Bangalore is the fastest growing major metropolitan city in India. The industries which enhance the state economy are Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited Bharat Earth Movers Limited and Hindustan Machine Tools etc. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established In June 1972 by Department of Space, headquartered in Bangalore city.
Bangalore is home for information technology companies, Bangalore's IT industry is in three main types Software Technology Parks of India, International Tech Park, and Electronics City. The famous companies like Infosys and Wipro, are in Bangalore city. India's largest biotechnology company Biocon,which is in bangalore, doing his medical service in allover India.

Tourism

Tourist spots in Bangalore are Lal Bagh ,Cubbon Park, Bugle Rock ,Forum Mall, Vidhana Soudha, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum ,Iskcon temple, Bull Temple , Bannerghatta National Park, Nandi Hills etc.
