Laxmi narayan mittal -a great indian

Laxmi narayan mittal is also known as laxmi niwas mittal .He was born on 15 june 1950 in Sadulpur village , in the Churu district of Rajasthan, India . He is the C.E.O. and founder of Arcelor Mittal. In 2009 he is the richest person in United Kingdom and eighth richest person in the world.
Mr. Mittal began his career working in the family’s steelmaking business in India. In 1976 ,he looked out of india to expand the simple and domestic family business
he seperated himself apart erom the joint family business due to some internal misunderstandings .Nobody from the family explained the reasons for the split. By his caliber, vision and hard work, Mittal converted the moderate business of his family into a steel giant. It is said about him that he buys sick and failed steel companies and (God knows how) turns them into gold. At present he owns 12 giant sized steel plants. now,his daughter-in -law Meghna mittaql is also following his foot steps. The Mittal Trust has purchased a failed fashion group named,Escada, and it will be instigated by Meghna mittal. His wife’s name is Usha and he is the father of Aditya Mittal and Vanisha Mittal. He lives in the world’s most expensive house in Kensington,London. This house is decorated with marble taken from the same quarry that supplied to the Taj Mahal.
Mittal has a big heart to spend on charity and donations.
Mittal Champions Trust was set up with us$9million to support 10 Indian athletes .In 2008,Abhinav Bindra the first Indian Olympic gold medalist received RS.1.5 crore from this trust. The company also operates the Arcelor Mittal foundation which provides support to many different community projects..
But criticism always follows fame and so it is with Mittal. During dec.2004, 23 miners died in explosions in his mines in Kazakhstan caused by faulty gas detectors. Mittal purchased the Irish steel plant based in Cork from the govt. for a nominal fee of 1 pound. Three years later it was closed leaving 400 people unemployed. It was criticized for subsequent environmental issues at the site. The govt. tried to sue in the high court but failed.
But these criticisms can be ignored because the proportion of the pride done by him to India is very high.
