Lakshmi Narayan Mittal also called Lakshmi Niwas Mittal is a British steel billionaire industrialist. Who is one of the richest men in Asia and fourth richest person on the planet.

Lakshmi Narayan Mittal born in India, Sadulpur village, in Churu district of Rajasthan. Lakshmi Narayan Mittal spent his childhood years in India, with his extended family in his grand fathers house. He completed his graduation in St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta where he got a Bachelor of Commerce degree, then he married Usha Mittal, and had a son and daughter.

Lakshmi Mittal began his steelmaking business in India in the year 1976, latter he set out to establish his international business, with a run-down plant in Indonesia. Now he is global steel producer with operations in fourteen countries. Lakshmi Narayan Mittal made some development in integrated mini-mills and he found the use if Direct Reduced Iron as a substitute for steelmaking process in the global steel industry. He is the largest steelmaker in the world, who is producing 42.1 million tons of steel and his net profit is $22 billion in the year 2004. Lakshmi Narayan Mittal got “European Businessman” award in the Year 2004 by Fortune magazines and “Steelmaker of the Year” in 1996 by New Steel, and for outstanding vision he got the “Willy Korf Steel Vision Award” in 1998.

If we see the personal life of Mittal, When he is at home, the steel man keeps a disciplined schedule, his schedule includes yoga for an hour, relaxed swimming in his swimming pool. His wife Usha is running the Indonesian business, his son Aditya and daughter Vanisha are members of the Board of Directors of Mittal Steel company.
