Vegetarian diet plan

Balanced nutrious diet is important for all, especially children below five years. In this age children acquire many of the physical attributes and the social and psychological structures for life and learning’.

Healthy diet is nothing but plenty of water, protein for growth , sufficient carbohydrates which gives energy for our daytoday activities, small amounts of fat, iron and calcium for blood and bones growth, vitamins A,D,E,K,B,C for overall development, and minerals like zinc and magnesium to develop our immune system.
Variety of different vegetables, spinach and fruits will not only gives a balance of nutrition, but also they are rich in fibre which keep the digestive system healthy.
Chart for vegetarians:

Breakfast: A chopped apple or banaba , a few nuts or seeds and a pinch of cinnamon and a cup of fresh germinated seeds.

Lunch: A cup of tomato or any Vegetable soup with lentils or beans.Brown rice with curd, spinach leaves and enjoy with a wholemeal bread roll with a cup of dhal.

Dinner: Stir fried mixed vegetables served with two chappathi, a cup of mixed fruit salad and a glass of milk.
