Former Vice-President of India and chief minister of Rajasthan Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Passed away on 15th May 2010 after long illness.
He was suffering from lung and chest infection for quite a long time. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat survived with wife Shrimati Suraj Kanwar and a daughter.
Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was the 11th Vice-President of India. He joined that designation in 2002 and successfully completed his tenure to that post.
He served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan state three times, from 1977 to 1980, 1990 to 1992, and 1993 to 1998
