Phalodi airfield will be inaugurated today i.e. on 6th of April by chief marshal P.V. Naik. The airbase has been constructed with a view to give more strength to the air force stationed near the Jaisalmer border. The proposal to build an airbase in Phalodi was approved by the govt. in 2000.
