Indian Bowling in International Cricket in Recent Times
HelloThe last two matches in the triangular series have yet again shown the chinks in the armour of the no. 2 one day side of the world. Since champions trophy itself India had been struggling in the bowling department.Comparatively young bowlers like Ishant Sharma, RP Singh and Praveen Kumar as well old horses like Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh - all have been given thorough thrashing in the recent times. What is more startling is the fact that world's no. 1 side Australia beat India comprehensively at latter's home with the help of a depleted bowling attack. That shows the bench strength of the Australian side.
On the other hand we haven't tested new bowlers much since players like Sudeep Tyagi and Dinda are yet to play any match. Our main bowlers are struggling while youngsters are not being given chances. In this way we will surely have a lot of troubles in the world cup next year since the pitches of this sub-continent are batsmen's paradise and a poor bowling by the bowlers would lead to a humongous run bleeding. This is something India won't want.
