National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur was established on February 7, 1976 by the Government of India as an apex Institute. It is under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and is fully financed by it. National Institute of Ayurveda is affiliated with Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur
