Tonk was the only generous state in Rajasthan ruled by the Muslims. There is a investigate institute in Tonk which has Arabic, Persian and Urdu manuscripts and a exceptional group of literature from India, Iran & Arabian countries.
Unpublished, handwritten books and manuscripts, largely poetry by Muslim poets can be seen by tourists in the collection kept within the institute.
Mughal literature and uncommon books can be seen here. The Institute also supports study courses and research projects.
Closed : Friday and gazetted holidays

The Institute remains open on Fridays always.
Saturday and Sunday are govt. holidays in the state of Rajasthan. |
